In full, “Your kind telegram of congratulation was received, but I have been unable until now to make any acknowledgement of it. Please accept my sincere thanks not only for your kind words but also for your support and service.” In very good condition, with strip of toning from old tape repair to one of two vertical folds, another fold through a single letter of signature, small tear and paper loss to lower left, and a couple of creases.
