Description

TLS as president, one page, 7 x 9, White House letterhead, December 16, 1914. Letter to William Howland, who would go on to be a part in the formation of the League of Nations. In part, “For some reason your letter of December twelfth has only just now been laid before me…Please let me know the next time you are to be here and I shall make a special effort to arrange a time.” Accompanied by a glossy portrait of Wilson throwing out the first pitch of the 1916 baseball season suitable for matting. In fine condition, with a bit of light feathering to signature, and a few creases and wrinkles. Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
