Description

A huge man, his massive build and Boris Karloff’s reticence to continue to play monsters, helped him break into the horror picture genre of the 1940s. Strange made his monstrous debut in House of Frankenstein, quickly followed by House of Dracula. He also played the creature in the cult horror/comedy classic Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein as part of the monstrous trio alongside Bela Lugosi's Dracula and Lon Chaney, Jr.'s Wolf Man. In-person fountain pen signature and inscription, “To Ken, Sincerely, Glenn Strange,” on an off-white 5 x 3 card. In very fine condition, with a small clipped photo affixed to right side. R&R COA.
