Two items: TLS, signed “John Kennedy”, one page, 5.25 x 6.25 Senate letterhead, June 21, 1954. Kennedy writes to Lou Walters at the Latin Quarter in New York City. In part: “Thank you very much for your recent letter enclosing an article relative to increasing tax burdens on establishments such as yours. The general tax revision bill has been just reported out by the Senate Finance Committee and will probably come before the Senate for consideration either this week or next….” Also included: a White House card signed in ballpoint “Jacqueline Kennedy.” Matted and framed together with a photo to an overall size of 25.75 x 13.75.
