In full, “The words you added to the return mailing are so charming that indeed it is with sheer delight I am sending the manuscript back again. Please don’t laugh at me when at the same time I am admitting that the waiting period of almost three months was the reason for my decision for withdrawal of this trifle matter. For all the other information you kindly passed along, I am thanking you very much and remain your devoted friend.” The manuscript mentioned could be Herzel's comedy, Die Prinzen aus Genieland which was excellently received at the Carltheatre in 1891. In fine condition, with small split along central horizontal mailing fold, uniform block of light toning from previous display and a couple erased pencil notations to bottom, one through signature.
