Ink endorsement, “Pay to Truman Library Inc. on order, Harry S. Truman,” on the reverse of 1955 bank check sent to him by Cornelius Greenway. Greenway was a prominent collector of signed photographs whose collection was dispersed by Parke-Bernet in 1971. In very good condition, with staple holes, folds, a few tiny abrasions, and usual bank stamps and punch cancellations (the latter to endorsement and last name of signature).
