Edward (1894–1972) reigned as Edward VIII from January to December 1936, at which time he abdicated the throne to marry American divorcée Wallis Warfield Simpson (1896–1986). Very nice ballpoint signatures, “Edward, Duke of Windsor” and “Wallis, Duchess of Windsor,” on an off-white 5.5 x 4 correspondence card with engraved crest.
