Unsigned, boldly penned manuscript fragment in Washington’s hand, consisting of approximately 28 words on an 8 x .5 slip clipped from a land survey, no date. The document reads, in full: “[…] to two sugar trees, thence No. 80 Wt. 500 poles to a sugar tree, thence No. 10 Et. 320 poles to two sugar trees corner to the sd. survey….” Attractively matted and framed with two color images to an overall size of 14.5 x 23. In very good, visually appealing condition, with trimming to bottom edge just touching a few letters and thin spots and holes stabilized by archival reinforcement to reverse.
