ALS signed “HST,” one page, 4 x 6, October 12, 1962. Short letter to Senate Minority Leader Mike Mansfield campaigning for Wayne Morse. In full, “Is it possible for you to work out an agreement with Wayne Morse? I’ve got to go to Oregon and help him beat a Republican, who shouldn’t win. I know he is cantankerous, but in the long run he is an asset to us in Oregon. See what you can do.” Triple suede matted and framed with an original Chase Statler portrait and a small caption, to an overall size of 28.5 x 22.5. In fine condition, with two staple holes to top left corner. Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA. Oversized.
