Terrific 7.75 x 10.25 magazine photo of Karloff as Frankenstein’s monster, clutching a statue in evident despair, boldly signed and inscribed in ballpoint, “Best wishes to Tom Crow, Boris Karloff.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Karloff’s hand and postmarked Kensington [Karloff then lived in his homeland of Great Britain], December 13, 1966. Both items are attractively matted and framed together to an overall size of 24 x 19.5. Intersecting mailing folds to photo (which Karloff appears to have purposely avoided with his carefully placed signature), otherwise fine condition. A must for the serious horror collector!
