TLS signed “C. A. L.,” one page, 8 x 11, August 5, 1963. Lindbergh writes from Les Monts-de-Corsier, Switzerland to his secretary, Jean Saunders. In part: “I am enclosing a Travellers questionnaire, signed. Would you please fill in payroll amounts as requested on the reverse side, and mail. Mrs. Swanson must be just on the edge of being a ‘full time’ rather than ‘half time’ employee…. We had [handwritten addition: very little] work done during the period covered by the questionnaire…. If you do not have a record of the exact amounts, please fill in the maximum amount you think we might have paid….” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Vertical mailing fold through first letter of signature, otherwise very fine, fresh condition. R&R COA.
