In part: “I am enclosing a Travellers questionnaire, signed. Would you please fill in payroll amounts as requested on the reverse side, and mail. Mrs. Swanson must be just on the edge of being a ‘full time’ rather than ‘half time’ employee…. We had [handwritten addition: very little] work done during the period covered by the questionnaire…. If you do not have a record of the exact amounts, please fill in the maximum amount you think we might have paid….” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
