It will be true as much because of your support and your friendship. Thanks again and warmest best wishes.”; and a TLS, signed “Jerry Ford,” as President, one page, dated September 5, 1975, White House letterhead. Letter also to Rasmussen. In full, “Thank you very much for the splendid pipe which Jack Stiles delivered. I deeply appreciate your thoughtfulness in sending me this special remembrance handcrafted in Denmark… Your words of friendship and support mean more than I can say.” Written three days before Ford's unconditional Pardon of Richard Nixon. Both letters are accompanied by the original mailing envelopes. In fine condition. R&R COA.
