Scottish-born scientist and inventor (1847–1922) who conceived the telephone, founded the Bell Telephone Company, and invented various devices for aiding the deaf. TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, Beinn Bhreagh letterhead, December 8, 1908. Short letter to Winfield Scott Clime at the Department of Agriculture. In full, “Many thanks for your note of the 1st inst. We enjoyed your visit here very much and hope to have the pleasure of seeing you in Washington in a few days.” In fine condition, with a mild shade of overall toning and intersecting folds. R&R COA.
