Two TLSs on Selznick International Pictures, signed in blue pencil by Selznick employee Katharine Brown, as follows: 1) To Janet Cohen, evidently a casting agent, November 25, 1936, in part: “I am attaching herewith a break-down of the characters on Gone with the Wind. I am hopeful that George Cukor will have one full week of auditions around December 15th….” 2) To agent Harold Freedman, October 1, 1937, in part: “I am enclosing four copies of the letter agreement to cover the further employment of [screenwriter] Mr. Sidney Howard. I hope we aren’t all old and gray before this thing is finished….” In very good to fine condition, with scattered wrinkling and soiling (somewhat greater to Freedman letter) and some marginal chips and tears, not affecting any text.
