Characterful portrait print on cardstock of an older Clemens by illustrator Kate Rogers Nowell, 7.5 x 9.5, clearly signed in fountain pen on the lower part of the image, “Sincerely yours, Mark Twain, Feb. 21/05.” Among other events in the year of signing, Twain celebrated his 70th birthday and dined in the White House with President Theodore Roosevelt. A few very faint, subtle creases (one lightly touching last name), otherwise very fine, clean condition. Striking, unusual, and very scarce! R&R COA.
