Hand-addressed free frank, as president, 5.25 x 3.5, unfolds to 11.25 x 9. Addressed in Jackson’s hand to “Mr. John C. McLomar, Nashville, Tennessee,” and franked along the top, as president, “Free, Andrew Jackson.” Secretarial notation along left edge reds, “Write 18 April 1830.” In good condition, with moderate toning and soiling to panel, show-through from tape reinforcement along folds on reverse, small professional repair along top edge above signature, barely touching the “A,” and several small ‘pin-size’ holes to panel.
