Very interesting group of contracts for five first-season members of the Not Ready For Prime Time Players. Three contracts are identical in nature. All three are two pages, 8.5 x 11, all dated September 26, 1975, and all are on NBC letterhead. Documents are for John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, and Jane Curtin. All are amendments to their earlier contracts and concern their payment and performance cycle, with each receiving $1,200.00 per program on the third cycle, topping out at $2,000.00 on the tenth cycle. Each is nicely signed on the second page by the respective actor or actress; also is a one page DS, 8.5 x 11, dated October 9, 1975, NBC Television Network letterhead, and is a confirmation of the deal between NBC and Gilda Radner for her “services in the late night (after 11 pm) 90 minute variety series entitled NBC’s Saturday Night.” Signed at the bottom in blue ballpoint by Radner; and a one page DS, 8.5 x 11, dated September 22, 1982, NBC letterhead and is a standard AFTRA Engagement Contract between NBC and Chevy Chase, for Chase to host Saturday Night Live for the sum of $5,000.00, signed at the bottom of the first page in blue ink by Chase. In fine condition, with punch and staple holes to top edge, ink notations to Radner’s document and a few small tears to top edges. R&R COA.
