Inventor and founder of basketball. Partial hand-addressed YMCA mailing envelope, postmarked February 6, 1919, addressed by Naismith to his wife, “Mrs. Jas. Naismith, 1635 Mass St., Lawrence, Kansas, U. S. A.,” and signed in the return address area, “Naismith.” Consignor indicates envelope is from the Naismith family estate.
