Original hand-inked L’il Abner daily comic strip, dated August 8, 1942, on a 22.5 x 6.5 piece of artist’s cardstock, apparently entitled McSwine, Women, and song, showing Daisy Mae preparing to make her debut to society, including a panel of Mae in her lingerie, asking what’s the use of clean underwear if no one can see it. Signed in the last panel in black ink by Capp. Matted and framed to an overall size of 26 x 11. In very good condition, with even overall toning and white ink corrections to text and a few lines of figures. R&R COA. Oversized.
