Countersigned by John Wanamaker, the controversy-laden postmaster general who founded the famous Wanamaker’s Departement Store in Philadelphia. The embossed foil and ribbon seal remains intact at lower left. Matted and framed with a photo to an overall size of 30.5 x 22.25.
