Scarce franking signature, “Free, W. H. Harrison,” on a 5.75 x 3 envelope panel (affixed to a slightly larger card) bearing a “Washn. City” postmark of May 28 and addressed in Harrison’s hand to “W. L. Stone Esqr., Edr. Comwl. Advertiser, New York.” In very good condition, with two vertical folds (one through middle initial), very faint “free” ink stamp touching a few letters of signature, light wrinkling from mounting, mild scattered soiling, and chip to blank corner at lower left.
