Printed score for Gershwin’s Preludes for Piano (New York: New World Music, 1927), 9.5 x 12.5, 12 pages, signed and inscribed in fountain pen on the cover, “For Mr. Arie Abileah—With sincere admiration, George Gershwin, April, 1929.” The inscribee was a pianist in the early twentieth century. In very good condition, with cellophane tape reinforcement along spine, light soiling, edge wear, creases, and small tears throughout. The writing is bold and dark.
