Helmet is also signed on the visor in black felt tip by the discoverer of Schumacher, Jürgen Dilk. Helmet also bears “M. Schumacher + Manheim,” written on both sides of the helmet, possibly written by Schumacher himself. Helmet also bears an early version of Schumacher’s trademark helmet crown design, drawn on the top in black sharpie. In very good condition, expected wear and dings from use and a couple small labels affixed to front. Rare item as hardly anything was preserved from the early stages of his memorable career.
