Army wire photo taken on January 27, 1945 of Louis and others returning from Canada after a tournament with the Canadian All Services champions, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Peterson, Best boxing…Joe Louis.” Billy Petersen is seen to the left of Louis, holding his trophy for Best Boxer in the tournament.
