Description

Baseball Hall of Famer. During his 21-year career as a second baseman (1896–1916), mostly with the Cleveland Indians, he posted a lifetime batting average of .339. In 1901, he batted .422, highest ever in a season in the American League. He was elected to baseball’s Hall of Fame in 1937. Ballpoint signature, “Larry Lajoie,” on an off-white 3.25 x 1 card. Signature is encapsulated in a hard-plastic PSA/DNA authentication holder, along with an unsigned gold Hall of Fame plaque card. In fine condition, with partial caption affixed at end of signature. R&R COA.
