Born Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini in Italy in 1897, Paul VI reigned as pope from 1963 until his death in 1978. Glossy 4 x 5.25 photo on its original 7.25 x 11 card mount, inscribed on the mount in a calligraphic hand to Monsignor Angelo Cerato on the fiftieth anniversary of his ordination and signed “Paulus P. P. VI.” The mount bears an embossed Vatican seal touching the first name of the signature. In fine condition, with a few spots of subtle soiling to mount and photo somewhat faded. R&R COA.
