Partially printed DS, signed “Go: Washington,” one page, 8 x 13, no date. A military discharge for John Birch of New York. Countersigned by General J[ohn] Trumbull. Archivally matted and framed (so that both sides are visible) to an overall size of 9.5 x 14.5. In fair condition, with clipped portion to lower left of document, complete separations at folds, soiling, staining, and winkling. The entire document has been archivally conserved (including Japanese tissue backing) and is accompanied by a conservation report from Westlake Conservators, Ltd.
