Texas doctor who settled at San Felipe in 1829. He represented Fort Bend at the 1833 convention and was one of three commissioners appointed to carry the petitions of that convention to Mexico. He served under Stephen F. Austin in 1835 and aided in the organization of the Texas Army. He served as Secretary of the Treasury under Sam Houston in 1843. DS, one page, 7.75 x 12.5, May 27, 1839.
