Better late than never…last man to sign the Declaration

Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Delaware, Revolutionary War officer, delegate to the Continental Congress, and Governor of Pennsylvania (1734–1817). DS, signed “Tho McKean,” one page, 15.5 x 13, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania letterhead, January 10, 1824. Governor McKean appoints “John Brodhead Clerk of the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace and Jail Delivery in and for the County of Wayne.” Neatly signed on the left side in black ink under the intact paper seal. In very good condition, with moderate storage folds, tape repairs to folds on reverse and light mirroring of text. LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
