DS, signed “Tho McKean,” one page, 15.5 x 13, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania letterhead, January 10, 1824. Governor McKean appoints “John Brodhead Clerk of the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace and Jail Delivery in and for the County of Wayne.” Neatly signed on the left side in black ink under the intact paper seal.
