Partially printed DS, one page, 9 x 13, December 17, 1794. A document ordering the selectmen of Flintstown, Massachusetts “to cause the freeholders and other inhabitants duly qualified to vote for representatives for the General Court of this Commonwealth … to assemble … to give in their votes for one Representative, that is an inhabitant of the said District, to represent them in the Congress of the United States of America.” Countersigned twice by John Avery. The embossed paper seal remains intact at upper left. Matted with two images to an overall size of 25.25 x 20. In very good condition, with intersecting folds (holes at two intersections, affecting blank portions only and archivally reinforced from reverse) and scattered mild wrinkling and spotting.
