Mammoth cabinet-style photo published by Baker’s Art Gallery, Columbus, copyright 1896, 17 x 21 on a 21.75 x 26.75 mount, signed and inscribed in ink beneath the image, “For Dr. J. H. Phillips, Your faithful friend, W. McKinley.” In very good condition, with a touch of very subtle rubbing to image, and chips, subtle toning, and a few stains to mount. All of the faults to the mount are concentrated at the perimeter, well away from the image and writing, and with proper matting and framing, the appearance will easily rate as fine.
