TLS, signed in pencil with an elderly “Jean Sibelius,” one page, 4.75 x 7.25, September 23, 1950. Sibelius writes to Donald Mulcock in Leeds. In part: “I beg to inform you that the best source for you is the biography written by Karl Ekman which contains much details of my early life and childhood. The books has been published in England by Alan Wilmer, London, and you will easily get it there.” Attractively matted and framed with an unsigned photo to an overall size of 10.25 x 20.
