Bank check, 7.25 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Dickens, payable to “travelling expenses” for £22.6.0, February 21, 1852. The check has been affixed to an early calligraphic presentation card and framed to an overall size of 10.5 x 8.5. In good to very good condition, with loss to left edge (well away from writing), ink and hole cancellations (away from signature), vertical folds (touching signature), mild soiling, and signature a shade light but fully legible.
