Gurney & Son of New York of Farragut posing in his uniform, signed and inscribed in black ink on the reverse, “To Gen. J. G. Wilson, June 28th 1867, Presented by D. G. Farragut.” Farragut has also signed in the lower border under his image, “D. G. Farragut.” In very good condition, with CDV professionally inlaid to a 4.25 x 6.25 off-white card, a bit of light foxing and rippling to image and some minor paper loss to reverse.
