That date is still too far in the future for me to make a definite commitment. There are so many proposed engagements in my spring schedule that certain adjustments would have to be made to allow the addition of any further appearances.” Accompanied by an unsigned boxed two-volume hardcover set of Truman’s memoirs (later printing).
