Partially printed DS, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page on vellum, 15.25 x 9.5, August 1, 1827. A document granting to Thomas R. Keith a parcel of land at Tallahassee. The paper seal remains intact at lower left. A few minor wrinkles and pinhole at top left, otherwise very fine, virtually flawless condition. The bold signature, exceptionally fresh and appealing appearance, and scarcity of Florida-related documents of such early date combine to render the present item a most outstanding example.
