Partially printed DS as president, one page on vellum, 15.75 x 9.5, April 2, 1829. A document granting a parcel of land in Warren County, Ohio to John Harkrader. The embossed paper seal remains intact at lower left. In fine condition, with engrossment quite light (yet readable), signature just a shade light, and one fold touching first letter of signature. The overall appearance is clean, bright, and quite visually appealing, and the early presidential date, just weeks after Jackson’s inauguration, adds a level of interest seldom encountered in documents of this nature.
