Civil Rights pioneer

A central figure in the American civil rights movement, Parks (1913–2005) instigated the Montgomery bus boycott of 1955–56 by refusing to give up her seat to a white passenger as required by city law. Color limited edition 22.5 x 18.5 lithograph entitled The Mentor, numbered #111/500, signed in black felt tip. Also signed in pencil by the artist, Anthony Douglas. Double matted and framed to an overall size of 33 x 27. Accompanied by two photos taken at time of signing. In very fine condition. R&R COA. Oversized.
