Description

California’s law-and-order governor goes after a rubber-check artist

DS, one page, 8.5 x 14, August 12, 1968. A requisition to the Governor of Nevada wherein Reagan requests that fugitive Nancy L. Miller, charged with the crime of “issuing check without sufficient funds,” be arrested and turned over to California authorities. The document is housed in its original stapled folder along with several unsigned related documents, including affidavits, copies of the checks in question, and a photo of an unidentified woman (evidently Miller). Don’t mess with the Gipper, punks. The document bears a large embossed foil seal at lower left. In fine condition, with usual light handling and document wear and small loss to lower right corner (affecting blank margin only). R&R COA.
