Letter of response written at the bottom of a TLS to Speaker, dated March 12, 1955, inquiring if Speaker would sign a baseball if sent, which will in turn be sent to Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb and Connie Mack. Speaker writes, “Will be very happy to sign the baseball for you. Would suggest you send it to Cleveland some time after April 10th as I am not sure just how long I will be here.” Neatly signed at the conclusion “Tris Speaker.” In fine condition, with several mailing folds, one through a single letter of signature and a couple small tears to top edge.
