Baseball Hall of Famer best known for his spitballs and for the forty-one-and-a-third innings he pitched in an eight-day span in 1908 in a futile attempt to capture a pennant for the White Sox. Clipped return address, 3.75 x 2.5, bearing Walsh’s handwritten signature and address in the return address area, “Ed. A. Walsh, Harrinton St., Meriden, Conn.” Panel also bears a typed Indianapolis address and two fifteen cent postage stamps. Address is also housed in a plastic James Spence authentication holder. In fine condition, with slight visible fingerprint to a letter of the signature and some light creasing and soiling to bottom. Scarce in any form, this signature jumps to your attention. LOA Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
