Hand-colored and embossed scalloped-edge leather postcard picturing an eagle clutching an American flag and bearing the legend “Peace, Plenty, and Content to Every True American,” 5 x 3.25, signed vertically in black ink, “Theodore Roosevelt.” The correspondence side bears a one-cent stamp and an address in another hand.
