Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Virginia (1726–1806) and the first law professor in the New World. Attractive ADS, one page, 7.75 x 2.75, no date. A legal document related to the case Russell vs. Field. In part: “The said Plaintiff saith … his Bill aforesaid out not to be quashed, because he saith, that the said Defendant is named and called, at the Day of exhibiting the Bill aforesaid was named and called as well by the name of Cain Field as by the name of Keene Field.” Very subtle toning, otherwise fine, crisp condition.
