Mannerheim was known as The Marshal of Finland. Svinhufvud was the President of Finland from 1931 to 1937. Both Mannerheim and Svinhufvud were the two Regents of the short-lived Kingdom of Finland 1918-19 (upon the liberation from Russia) and that Mannerheim led Finland military through the WWII. Lot of two signed items: vintage matte-finish 7 x 9.25 photo of Mannerheim in full military dress and medals, signed and inscribed in fountain pen to Carl Hamilton and signed “G. Mannerheim, Helsingfors, October 1931”; and a vintage matte-finish 8.5 x 11 photo of Svinhufvud, signed and inscribed in fountain pen to C. F. Hamilton. In fine condition. R&R COA.
