Unsigned notes written by Jimmy Carter as president, one lightly lined page, 5 x 7, 1978. The consignor notes that he originally obtained the notes, which he identifies as Carter’s “talking points,” at the conclusion of a National Defense Workshop at the Democratic Midterm Convention in Memphis on December 9, 1978. Carter has written, in part, “Soviets + 4.5%/yr, 15/20 yrs., Defense 5%,” adding several other notations. In fine condition. R&R COA.
