Terrific 1955 souvenir book titled Country Music Picture Album, softcover, 11 x 8.25, signed in ballpoint and ink by approximately fifty-three musical personalities. Elvis has signed on the title page: “Yours, Elvis Presley.” The covers and interior (including elsewhere on the title page) include the signatures of scores of other notable personalities (a few of whom have also inscribed), including Bill Black, Scotty Moore, June Carter, Tex Ritter, Roy Rogers, Ray Price, Jim Reeves, Hawkshaw Hawkins, Marty Robbins, Slim Whitman, Grandpa Jones, Webb Pierce, Homer & Jethro, Faron Young, Ernest Tubb, Chet Atkins, and others. In very good to fine condition, with covers detached from text block and with partial separation along spine, light scattered soiling, collector’s ink notation to back cover, and mild handling wear. Nearly every signature is clear and dark, the booklet itself is generally quite clean and presents very nicely, and the unique grouping of so many major personalities makes for an item of considerable interest.
