Description

LBJ’s sweet tooth

TLS signed “LBJ,” one page, 6.25 x 8.125, personal letterhead, November 26, 1970. LBJ writes to Yolanda Boozer, his onetime personal secretary. In full: “Now Aubrey and I have something else in common besides our love for you … pineapple nut cake! I know your memories of me and meals at the ranch give you a pretty good picture of how much I … and all of us … are enjoying your cake and appreciating your culinary talents this Thanksgiving Day. It’s almost worth losing a good secretary for treats like this!” Matted with an unsigned color image to an overall size of 18.5 x 13.25. In fine condition, with two pieces of mounting tape to reverse. LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
