Cartoonist who took over the Popeye comic strip in 1958. Original hand-inked three panel Popeye daily comic strip, dated December 13, 1972, on a 17.75 x 6 piece of off-white artists cardstock. Strip depicts an exasperated Popeye trying to move along Olive Oyl who happens to be stuck in a precarious stance. Signed in the last panel in black ink by Sagendorf. In fine condition, with some minor border soiling. R&R COA.
