Signer of the Declaration of Independence and later Governor of Virginia. DS, signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page, 14.75 x 18.25, September 1, 1783. Document signed as governor of Virginia, granting Robert Hansberger one thousand acres of land, signed at the conclusion in black ink by Harrison. In very good condition, with document having been professionally silked on reverse to repair several complete vertical separations, scattered toning, a bit heavier to edges and a few creases.
