Early Weizmann signature

Jewish statesman and president of Israel. He studied in Germany and Switzerland, then lectured on chemistry at Geneva and Manchester universities. He helped to secure the Balfour Declaration of 1917, and became president of the Zionist Organization and of the Jewish Agency. He played a major role in the establishment of the state of Israel, and was its first president. Vintage fountain pen signature and inscription, “With good wishes to Bethel Solomons, Ch. Weizmann, London,” on a light yellow 5 x 3 card, dated July 26, 1933. In fine condition, with some light toning and soiling, mostly due to mounting remnants on reverse and a crease to lower right.
